Mx. Shagam has been directly responsible for many key technologies with wide-ranging impact. At Amazon, she developed many of the core algorithms and software necessary for the successful launch of the original Kindle, including technology around automated eBook conversion and document rendering; they also designed and implemented the core library that powers the next generation image rendering and delivery pipeline for the global website.
She has also worked in the games industry, developing high-performance graphics for mobile and VR platforms as well as reactive soundtrack generation. She has built media-focused run-time application platforms used in a wide variety of content consumption applications including Sony’s PlayStation Network and HBO GO.
Shagam worked on emerging media technologies at HBO, including the Emmy-winning virtual reality experience for the hit series Westworld, for which she also developed a successful authoring workflow for immersive auditory experiences.
Her passions lie in mixed-media storytelling, especially in the forms of video games, comics, and animation. With fluffy’s able advice, we are taking WORKSHOP 3D’s technology to new levels by creating innovative tools and platforms for both content creation and delivery.
