Applications are now open for a showcase of wearable clothing made of recycled or reused materials.
Applications are due midnight, April 30, 2019. Designers will be notified of the results by May 10, 2019.
We will have three separate runway events on June 8, 2019 to showcase each category. We will be curating for this show on the basis of design, technical skill and originality.
These events are part of the Seattle Recycled Arts Festival Fashion Show, to be held in conjunction with the Georgetown Carnival / Art Attack.
Prizes will be supplied by Value Village and St. Vincent de Paul.
Designs may be entered in one of three categories:
The runway shows will be June 8, 2019, starting at 2pm through 9pm.
We wish to showcase each category separately pending the number of entries.
Artists are required to provide their own models and looks. There will be a large private room to get ready for the show, starting at 10am. There will be a few volunteers on hand to help out.
Artists will be able to show their portfolios at a booth close to the stage.
In lieu of an entry fee, we request you bring one bag of donations for St. Vincent de Paul on the weekend of the Festival.
