Interplay Experience Design created an eight foot by eight foot "set" that serves as a three-dimensional target for the Augmented Reality Stations. We created four different animated AR scenes to enhance the experience of the exhibit at these stations.
Visitors are encouraged to participate physically with the set and the Augmented Reality by the placement of rainfall "markers" on the floor of the exhibit that are aligned with the oversized rain gauges in the AR experience.
WORKSHOP 3D installed the Augmented Reality system on site during the week before the opening of the exhibition, photographed the actual space for use a target, and ensuring that the AR was fine-tuned and fitted to the physical environment.
